New semester started.
Three new projects in the works.
More to come, of course.
Artistic freedom is an oxymoron.
Here are some pictures of me, not by me:
Failed ollie attemp #49530.
My arm is the only part of me in this (far left), but it's all you really need.
Mostly hair.

Trying some new mediums.

This is a self portrait. Using gouache, acrylic, oils and gesso for texture on the skirt and in the hair.
Messing around with monotypes. I liked how this one came out.
This is collography with oil, acrylic and gouache paints. Inspired by Egon Schiele.

Portrait with charcoal, colored pencil and pastels.

I am also writing a short story. It's nice to try new artistic mediums. Breathe of fresh air. Everything is going really great. I'm grateful for being in San Francisco. It has pushed me so much and done wonders for me while I'm maturing.

I'm twenty-two today.

Having a stuffy nose is one of the most frustrating things. Most specifically when you are eating or sleeping. Eating is horrible because you have no choice but to chew like a cow with your mouth wide open so you can breathe. And sleeping with your mouth open just creates an interesting morning with your tongue wearing a sweater of dry saliva and your lips cracked with pain from lack of moisture. My body needs to kick this cold before I lose my mind.

Here's a preliminary sketch for a project I'm working on:

And  a self portrait I did in watered down gouache washes:
