It's pretty wild seeing myself on art(/fashion) sites that I check on the regular. Rad! Thanks for the love and support, internet!

(t)here, new works by Pakayla Rae Biehn

I'm having a solo show! Opens October 8th, the party is from 6 to 10p.

Here's a little blurb from the gallery:
Building upon her double exposure theme of her previous works, Pakayla uses oil paint on canvas to present dream-like transfiguration of the natural world. The skill and refined beauty of her paintings enlists a realist style that recalls the delicacy, formality, and craftsmanship of old master techniques. She combines the cultivation of the portrait with a very intimate and vibrant observation of nature.

(t)here opens October 8th and runs through November 5th, 2011.
Opening reception is October 8th from 6 to 10pm.

Slepe Lasky (Blind Loves) - dir. Juraj Lehotsky

Saw this at the Rotterdam Film Festival back in 2009 while I was in the Netherlands. Any body have any tips on finding it? I've only been able to find the non-usa format so far. Help!

Phone jammers.

Barry McGee's daughters' tag. Uber tender.

Hazel. A bunch of these are from my preschool.

This is Evie. She's a 3 year old Courtney Love.

So cute.

Yellow, violets, red.

Chopped Mike's locks today. Well, I did the major cutting and Georgia did the rest. All his wizard carnage lay on the salon floor.  Lookin' fresh to death and 10 years younger. Love!

Cannot stop listening to this goddamn song. UGH.

I got a new part time job as a preschool teacher. I'm loving it so much, but I've only been there a month and I got strep throat and a cold from these little sicklings. They are little snot machines.

I'll post more paintings soon, I hope.

All my love.

Part of you pours out of me in these lines from time to time.

Holy fucking perfect. Brought some little tears to my cheeks. So tender.

Blood, sweat and beers.

After almost a month of non stop work, I finally finished the most challenging painting thus far in my career.

Eleven months, two weeks, three days and this morning.

This might be the only picture to exist of me on new years eve.
(Besides some questionable bounce house pictures, but those will most likely not be shared. Yikes.)
6am rained out walk home with Cole!
Wet hair shellacked to my face and neck, wet (fake!) fur hat resembling Einsteins' hair after a good shower, soaking wet boots/jacket/pants/sobriety, but most importantly, motherfucking impeccable red lips.
Thanks MAC, you really pull through for me the once a month I wear you.

Man, I hate saying this three days in, but 2011 is not lookin' too hot right now.

This photoshop job is unreal brilliant.
LOKO ONO! Ahhhahahaksjf;oaiwejlsdfaio;sjkldf.

Genius.

And so the lion fell in love with the lamb.

Because I think I was supposed to use this blog as a way for everyone to keep up with me and what I'm doing instead of posting pictures of cute editorials, here's a couple interviews over the last couple weeks:
